Linder Summit - Coeur Group Breakfast
The Coeur Group breakfast is our annual event focused on improving and sustaining our Locker Program. Typically held in the fall, the event brings together educators and administrators from all of the K-12 schools in District 271 and 272 as well as key staff members from District 271. The breakfast gives attendees the opportunity to share success stories, discuss best practices, offer ideas for improving how the lockers are managed and grow their professional network for continued success throughout the year.
In 2019 we were honored to partner with Lola and Duane Hagadone as our title sponsors of the breakfast. Together, the Coeur Group along with Lola and Duane hosted over 70 people at the Coeur d'Alene Resort where guests were treated with a gourmet breakfast, inspirational guest speakers and a surprise grant of $1500 per school to stock their lockers with needed supplies for the winter.
In total, $37,500 of grant money was given out to the schools to use for items such as winter clothing, shoes and boots, toiletries, school supplies and other items kids may need to be safe and successful at school.
We look forward to continuing this annual event which gives much needed resources directly to the people in our community who need them to make an immediate impact - our K-12 educators!!
