Andy Wilmes

Andy grew up in a small town along the Mississippi River northwest of St. Louis, Missouri. He has two brothers and remains very close with his extended family. A lifelong outdoorsman, Andy enjoys hunting, fishing, hiking, and just about any activity that allows him to be active and connected with nature. He loves to play sports and is an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan.

Andy attended Saint Louis University, where he earned both his Bachelor’s degree in Health Management and his Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration. 

Professionally, Andy has held a variety of leadership roles across health systems in the Midwest and now serves as a Strategy Consultant at Kootenai Health where he advises the Executive Leadership team on how to best grow the organization to meet the growing needs of the community. His career reflects his natural ability to connect with people and his commitment to improving the communities he serves.

Throughout his life, Andy has been an active leader and volunteer in his community. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the United Way of North Idaho, and believes the best way to strengthen a community is to invest in it—by giving back and helping others thrive.
