Beck Roan

Beck was born and raised in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. He attended the University of Notre Dame, where he studied philosophy and psychology, and worked at an autism clinic, a robotics department, a spatial cognition lab, and the law school. Upon graduation, Beck spent time in Seattle, Portland, Tucson, and Telluride, before moving to Norway to receive a Master’s degree in Philosophy at the University of Oslo. He returned to the United States to attend Law School at

the University of Idaho, graduating with honors from the Boise campus. In the years that followed, he gained valuable work experience in the areas of elder law, personal injury law, criminal appellate law, and trust and estate law. Beck also worked at the Idaho Court of Appeals and the Idaho Legislature, and he has taught at the University of Idaho College of Law.

Beck moved back to Coeur d’Alene and became a partner at Flammia  Solomon & Roan, a law firm started by his aunt and his mother more than 40 years ago. The firm is respected throughout Idaho and the Inland Northwest for its work with families and children in all areas of family law, including divorces, adoptions, custody matters, and modifications/terminations. Flammia Solomon & Roan also specialize in wills and probates, as well as guardianships and conservatorships for young and old alike.

Outside the office, Beck travels nearly every weekend for concerts, beer festivals, baseball games, and in search of the world's best fried chicken sandwich. In town, you can find him on the golf course, at the tennis courts, or half-submerged in the lake. He also enjoys volunteering at Art on the Green every summer, and he’ll likely recruit you to do the same.
