Karl Haakenson

Karl was born in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho into a family of accountants and mathematicians where he learned to take strategic and calculated approaches from a young age. Interest in Chemistry was sparked in a High School Chemistry class and was nourished by an intuition for understanding chemistry principles. Karl completed an Associates of Science from North Idaho College in 2015 and transferred to University of Idaho where he received a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering in 2018. Late in his studies, Karl discovered especial interest in Water/Wastewater Design, and has elected to make as much his career due to continued interest in the field’s contribution to society. He believes that one of the highest values is people and is glad to point his professional efforts along with Ardurra in that direction. Karl has been working with the Municipal group since March 2022.

Karl is married to his delightful wife, Hannah. Together they attend and serve with the local church, Anthem CDA. In his free time Karl enjoys skiing, cycling, woodworking, mechanic-ing, and gathering people around food.

Karl is excited to serve the community alongside the Coeur Group.
